Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, California
Located on the beach between Monterey and San Francisco, the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is an excellent value for any group traveling by bus charter. With rides, attractions and a mile long beach, there is a full day of fun and excitement for the entire family.
With over 35 rides and attractions, you'll find it hard to see and do everything in one day. The world famous Giant Dipper Roller Coaster is located here, this wooden roller coaster was built in 1926 and has been thrilling riders ever since. It was even a back drop and prop in films such as "the Lost Boys", "Dangerous Minds" and "Sudden Impact". The Double Shot is also a thriller, a lift ride which shoots riders straight up 125 feet in the air for one of the best views of the Santa Cruz Boardwalk, only to be dropped a few seconds later. Children of all ages, including the parents will fall in love with the classic Carousel; now a national historic landmark, this gorgeous merry-go-round was built in 1911.
There are retail shops selling merchandise needed for a day at the beach as well as souvenirs and novelties. You'll find surfboards, wetsuits and clothing at the famous O'Neill Surf Shop. The Kids cove has a huge selection of toys, clothes and novelties for the little ones. There's also plenty to dine and snack on. Your favorite summer treats and more are offered in any of the 15 cafe's or restaurants all at affordable prices. Snacks and sweets are also found throughout the park.
