Legoland, Carlsbad California
Every child and adult loves Lego's, they've been a favorite toy for generations. The Legoland Theme park located in Carlsbad California is dedicated to these famous building blocks and is a great idea for a bus charter day trip for the entire family.
There are interactive play areas and amusements to keep the kids busy and entertain the adults. Attractions around the park are made of you guessed it real LEGO bricks. No matter what age, you'll be amazed at the Safari Trek, a drive through a recreation of an African plain complete with Giraffes, Lions, Elephants and crocodiles, all are life size and made out of LEGO's. You can even test drive a race car made of LEGO bricks. A great interactive area for the kids is Dig those Dinos, which allows the little ones to dig through sand for claws,bones and teeth of extinct creatures.
Inside the park you'll find a retail shop, the Big Shop which has the absolute largest collection of LEGO sets in the country, you may want to keep the kids and some parents away from that one. Wheelchair and stroller rentals, as well as novelties, gifts and general merchandise can be found at the Marketplace.
