If you love the old classic style amusement park, you'll really get a kick out of Lakeside Amusement Park. Located in Denver, Lakeside has been serving up family entertainment to Colorado for decades.

Home to the World Famous Cyclone Coaster, this wooden roller coaster has been ranked as a classic by America Coaster Ethusiasts Magazine year after year. Two other steel roller coasters give thrill seekers a run for thier money; the Chipmunk is for the daredevil in the group only, while the Dragon is a bit more family friendly.
There are plenty of tamer more traditional amusement park rides at Lakeside. The Merry Go Round has a selection of animals and fairy tale creatures to ride and is the original ride from when the park was first opened. There are also two steam trains from the 1904 St Louis Worlds Fair take visitors on a relaxing train ride around the park.Lakeside also has a childrens section with 15 rides just for the kids under 7. The little ones will be thrilled to ride these mini scaled down versions of the adult rides found at the park.
