Bonfante Gardens, Gilroy California
In 2001, Bonafante Gardens opened to the public becoming Californias only horticulture theme park. It has quickly become a family favorite and any group will find this a great bus charter day trip idea and value. A clean, gorgeous and meticulously landscaped park, Bonafante Gardens is dedicated to educating as well as entertaining the public about Californias native species of plants and trees.
The garden exhibits are just breath-taking, the landscaping and displays are all perfectly arranged and are everywhere you turn. Boat and car rides are available to tour the different scenic gardens. Visitors will be in awe of the manmade, natural looking structures and re-creations. A 3 story high Bonafante Falls display allows visitors an inside look at the workings of the five different types of waterfalls. Learning Sheds are located throughout the park and give insights into the daily operations of the park.
Splash Garden is a great place to get and stay wet, with 5 interactive water amusements to choose from you'll find a fun way to cool off. Treehouses, geysers, water sprayers and spraying branches make for a wet day for the kids.
Pasta, Pizza, tortillas and all your favorite snacks are on sale. You can sit down and eat in a friendly environment at the Villa Pasta & Pizza restaurant or Uncle John's BBQ.
