Located across from the Taj Mahal, in Atlantic City New Jersey is the Steel Pier Amusement Park. The Steel Pier is one of the Jersey shores best values when it comes to a bus charter group or large family day trip.
With rides and games, and a its proximity to the gaming action of the worlds best casinos, the Steel Pier is a great day for the entire family. There are the classic amusement park rides such as the Bumper Cars, Tilt A Whirl and a Ferris Wheel. On a hot day, get cool and wet on the Log Flume ride, a bumpy water ride with a big splash at the end, its kind of a roller coaster but in water.
There are kiddy rides galore. All the favorites plus a few more. Kids love the kiddy roller coaster, a scaled down version that has just enough thrills for the little ones. The kiddy go carts are always are favorite and sometimes a little crowded, the kids love to drive.
The Steel Pier offers live Shows and events, as well as an International Food Court for treats and snacks. Tasty treats from Italy, Mexico and China are available as are ice cream and delicious deserts. There is cotton candy, pop-corn and beverages available throughout the park.
The Steel Pier is opened from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Its hours are Mon-Fri 3:00pm to Midnight and Sat & Sun 3:00pm to 1:00am. When in Atlantic City New Jersey with the family or a bus charter group, the Steel Pier is a must see.
