The Hidden Amazon is a recreation of an Amazon Rain Forest. Many animals of the Amazon have there home here; check out underwater environments filled with fish straight from the Rain Forest including live Pirahnas. The exhibit is filled with lizards and birds such as iquanas, bats and spiders. Don't forget to take a look at the amazing 10 inch bird eating tarantula; yes it eats birds.
For a hands on experience, the Ray Touch Pool is filled with cownose sting rays. These sting rays a graceful swimmers and skim the surface just close enough for you to touch them. Mystic Aquarium also offers the Discovery Lab, an interactive pool where children as well as adults can reach out and touch a wide variety of marine life. An exciting experience is to come face to face with a Beluga Whale at the Beluga Contact exhibit; wade in a pool and interact with one of the most beautiful creatures of the sea.
Always a favorite a Mystic Aquarium is Feeding Time. At various times during the day you can observe the staff feed sharks, penguins, whales, seals and more.
