Adventure Island is a water park located in Tampa Florida. Over 30 acres of water fun, Adventure Island is a great place to stop when on a charter bus traveling through Florida. The kids as well as the adults will love to beat the summer heat on any one of Adventure Islands water rides.
If you really like to get wet, Adventure Island has the thrills and spills for you. The Gulf Scream body slide hurtles you down a 210 foot slide to an awaiting splash pool at 25 mph. Runaway rapids is a 34 foot mountain like water slide that offers a choice of 5 exciting tubes. For the ultimate thrill, Everglides is a 72 foot water slide that hurls riders side by side down a slick tube to the awaiting splash pool where they hydroplane across the top of the water.
If thrill rides aren't your thing, Paradise Lagoon is an interactive water playground featuring a 20 foot platform for cliff diving, a rope walk and waterfall. A really wet and wild amusement is Splash Attack, a playground full of wet surprises at every turn complete with a 1000 gallon bucket that empties on unsuspecting guests. The kids will want to spend the entire day at Fabians Funport in the wave pool and climbing on the water-gym.
Snacks and food are located throughout the park. Ice cream, pop-corn and cotton candy are just a few of the favorites to snack on, while the Surfside Cafe serves up delicious pizzas, hot dogs and the best home made funnel cake in Tampa.
