Central Park encompasses over two and half miles of Manhattan and was the first landscaped park in the United States. The park contains some famous landmarks as well as being world famous itself. Everybody has heard of the Cetral Park Zoo, the Tavern on The Green resturant as well as Wollman Rink. Centrral Park is also the home of Strrawberry Fields, a memorial to the late John Lennon.Also famous and a great stop for the kids is the Carousel at 65th Street.
